A local option for your family tapes
Based in Sheffield S10, VHS & Tape Revival grew out of a family project to convert much-loved home videos. Our team now helps families access recordings, photos and discs again. Read how it all started. Our postal service covers the UK, while local customers can arrange an appointment to bring their media and collect it afterwards.
Where to drop off
Our business address is Flat 5, 58 Clarkegrove Road, Sheffield, S10 2NH. This is a home-based service, with visits by appointment only. Please order or contact our team to agree a time before travelling. We do not operate a walk-in shop or publish shop opening hours. Choose “Local drop-off & collection” in the basket to remove the return-postage charge.
What you can bring
VHS and supported camcorder tapes, compact audio cassettes, photos, slides, negative frames, DVDs, CDs, memory cards and floppy disks can be ordered online. Cine film and audio reels are not offered. Bring a list of your items and keep related sets labelled. For damaged media, unfamiliar formats, overseas recordings or video tapes over three hours, enquire first.
Prices and collection
VHS costs £10 a tape, or five for £45, with MP4 download included. Larger orders receive automatic category discounts. Add a USB for £6 per order or a disc copy set for £3. Typical orders take 3–5 working days from receipt, subject to the cancellation-period choice; our team will arrange collection when ready. Please enquire first about deadlines or large collections.
