Prints, slides and negatives
We offer scanning for loose photographic prints, mounted slides and negative frames, including the listed 35mm, 110, 126 and 135 formats. Choose the matching format in the basket. For negatives, count the individual pictures rather than the strips: a strip containing six frames counts as six images. If you are unsure how to count or identify a collection, contact our team before paying.
How the price is calculated
Prints cost 30p each, slides 35p and negative frames 40p. Photo-category discounts start at 100 images and are applied automatically. There is a £10 minimum conversion charge per order after discounts, so ten prints on their own cost £10 rather than £3. Combining media in one order can help you reach the minimum. USB copies cost £6 per order, and UK return postage is £5.95.
Prepare a collection without damaging it
Send loose items in protective sleeves or secure bundles. Use simple numbered groups if keeping sets together matters to you, and include those instructions with your order reference. Do not force photographs out of albums if they are stuck down. Contact our team about albums, fragile originals or unusual sizes before ordering; the standard listing is for loose prints.
What to expect from the digital copies
Digital downloads are included and your originals are returned. Scanning makes photographs easier to save and share, but automatic repair, colour restoration and a particular scanning resolution are not promised by this service. Tell our team before ordering if you need files for a large print or another specific use. Download within 30 days and keep a backup.
Delivery and timing
You can post from anywhere in the UK or arrange free local drop-off in Sheffield S10. You pay for inbound postage separately. Typical orders take 3–5 working days from arrival, excluding shipping and any cancellation-period wait; large photo collections may take longer.
